I can't believe it's been so long since I posted anything here - I got kinda highjacked by WoW and fanfiction, so my creativeness has been on a long hiatus. Not sure when I'll post again, but we'll see.

Well, here it is, as promised. Thanks to those of you who were kind enough to show up and appreciate my work, even though updates seemed few and far between. I have some new stuff, I'm working on, and some older things I'll be trying to CG with the new tablet, so I hope to have more soon. On the other hand, after much hassle, I just got my FAA second class medical certificate, so maybe I'll be flying instead. Enjoy!

I just picked up a drawing tablet for the computer - it's just a cheapie from Hanvon, but it works. Unfortunately, Paint Shop Pro 8 doesn't seem to support the pressure sensitive capabilities. Regardless, it does make doing things a lot easier than with a mouse. For its maiden voyage, I colored in an old picture I drew for the "Daria" fanfic realm. I am also working on a picture to celebrate 1000 hits - which, surprisingly enough, should be reached shortly.

I went to a local airshow, and took a bunch of pictures. Sadly, out of all the pictures, only a couple were decent enough to post here. I would like to get a better camera, but I need to sharpen my skills at composition and getting the proper lighting using my cheapo digital before I waste a wad on better equipment. At least with digital I'm not wasting money on film and developing while I work at it.

I'm not totally happy with this picture of Quinn, I got in kind of a hurry towards the end - I just thought I'd try to improve my skill at adding color to my pictures. After getting everything done, I saved it as a jpg, but the picture looks kind of fuzzy in spots. I have seen this before, and I know it's because saving it to a jpg compresses the layers and causes some color loss, seems like there has to be a decent file format to prevent this, so I'll have to experiment.
